Why Join Us:

At BIT, we tackle complex problems as a team. We encourage openness and promote transparency, respect, and inclusivity. Every team member is valued and has a voice that can be heard. We are always in search of intellectually curious and entrepreneurial individuals who are keen on making an impact in the crypto ecosystem and in building a better product for the next one billion users.

About the Role:

The Social Media Lead directs group-level social media strategy, channel governance, and brand presence across BIT Group and its diverse business units (including Asset Management, Brokerage, Custody, Security, RWA/MatrixDock, and Payments). Operating as a core mid-office shared capability, this role does not focus on retail user acquisition or direct performance marketing. Instead, the focus is on building enterprise authority, brand equity, thought leadership, and institutional reputation across global digital channels.

The Social Media Lead establishes unified social architecture, manages corporate social properties, and acts as an internal strategic partner to the various BU leads and Project Managers to support product announcements, corporate milestones, executive profiling, and overall brand consistency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Oversight & Execution: Oversee and manage end-to-end corporate and multi-BU social media campaigns from conceptualization to live deployment, ensuring brand alignment, institutional tone of voice, and visual consistency across all shared properties.
  • KPI Tracking & Performance Analysis: Define, track, and analyze core brand and engagement KPIs (including institutional reach, engagement quality, sentiment, and share of voice) across all group social platforms.
  • Strategy Iteration & Optimization: Continuously evaluate social performance data, market sentiment, and industry shifts to adjust, refine, and optimize ongoing social strategies in real time.
  • Group Social Strategy & Governance: Define and execute the master social media strategy for BIT Group, ensuring distinct positioning and tailored narratives for individual business units.
  • Mid-Office BU Enablement: Serve as the centralized social media partner for Business Unit Leads, Product Managers, and Business Partners (PM/BP), translating B2B product launches, institutional partnerships, and technical updates into compelling social narratives.
  • Corporate & Executive Profiling: Elevate C-suite and leadership visibility across LinkedIn and professional channels, ghostwriting thought leadership posts, panel highlights, and commentary on industry regulation and macro trends.
  • Reputation & Share of Voice: Focus on brand presence, industry credibility, and institutional engagement on key channels (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube), deliberately avoiding retail acquisition mechanics to prioritize brand trust and industry standing.
  • Cross-Hub Synchronization: Coordinate centralized assets with the Creative Hub, align messaging with PR Leads, and integrate narratives developed by the Content Hub across social touchpoints.
  • Social Listening & Risk Management: Monitor industry conversations, competitor positioning, and brand sentiment; maintain real-time protocols with Legal, Compliance, and PR to manage corporate reputation and mitigate public risk.

Job Requirements:

  • Total Experience: 7–10+ years of progressive social media management and brand communications experience, with at least 2+ years leading group-level or multi-brand social initiatives.
  • Institutional / B2B Focus: Proven background in B2B Fintech, Digital Assets, Institutional Custody, Asset Management, Capital Markets, or Enterprise Tech, with experience driving enterprise reputation rather than consumer/retail acquisition.
  • Matrix / Shared-Services Model: Track record of operating in a mid-office or shared-services capacity, managing competing priorities and delivering social support to multiple internal business units concurrently.
  • Executive Advisory: Demonstrated experience advising C-suite executives and senior BU leaders on personal branding, thought leadership, and crisis communication on digital channels.
  • Corporate Brand Governance: Proven ability to establish and enforce social media guidelines, compliance workflows, and brand safety policies across multiple brands or subsidiaries.

Hard Skills:

  • Enterprise Channel Architecture: Mastery of institutional-grade social communications, particularly professional executive positioning on LinkedIn and institutional narrative building on X/Twitter and YouTube.
  • Campaign & KPI Measurement: Proficiency in setting up attribution models, auditing social analytics dashboards, and translating qualitative brand sentiment and quantitative metrics into actionable strategy pivots.
  • Financial & Tech Fluency: Strong working literacy in digital asset custody, real-world assets (RWAs), tokenization, cybersecurity, prime brokerage, and payment rails.
  • Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of compliance boundaries, financial promotions regulations, and confidentiality standards for corporate communications.
  • Social Listening & Analytics Stack: Expertise with enterprise listening, scheduling, and analytics tools (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Meltwater).
  • Creative Workflow Management: Skill in directing internal design and content teams to produce high-caliber infographics, corporate carousels, and video snippets suitable for an institutional audience.

Soft Skills:

  • Strategic Influence & Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage expectations and provide consultative guidance to senior BU heads and internal leadership with clarity and diplomacy.
  • Institutional Discretion & Judgment: Strong editorial filter to evaluate corporate sensitivity, market impact, and regulatory exposure before publishing.
  • Operational Agility: Highly organized in managing multiple simultaneous content pipelines and requests from distinct business units without compromising brand quality.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Builds effective working relationships across distributed internal teams, acting as a supportive partner rather than an operational bottleneck.
  • Poise Under Pressure: Remains level-headed, structured, and deliberate during industry crises, market volatility, or corporate announcements.
