About the Role
Predict.fun is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer to build and improve the user-facing experience of our exchange.
This role focuses on developing real-time web applications that directly interface with trading systems and on-chain data. You’ll work closely with backend engineers and the design and product team to build responsive, reliable, and intuitive interfaces where correctness, and user experience directly impact trading outcomes.
You’ll operate with high ownership in a fast-moving fully remote environment, taking features from idea to production while shaping frontend architecture, performance, and reliability standards across the platform.
What You’ll Do
Build high-performance trading interfaces
Develop responsive, real-time interfaces for trading, orderbooks, and market data using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Ensure UI systems remain fast, accurate, and resilient under live market conditions.
Own frontend architecture
Design and evolve frontend systems across state management, data fetching, caching, and rendering strategies. Make decisions that balance performance, scalability, and maintainability. You will have direct influence to help shape the functionality and design of our product.
Work closely with backend and contract systems
Collaborate with backend engineers on API design, data contracts, and system behavior. Handle edge cases such as partial failures, stale data, and real-time updates gracefully when orders and trading are core to the experience.
Optimize performance & reliability
Continuously improve frontend performance (rendering, network-usage and reliability). Implement logging and error tracking to quickly detect and resolve production issues. Take ownership of frontend reliability during incidents and assist with ensuring code quality remains high and user reported bugs are dealt with in a timely manner.
Ship end-to-end features
Own complex features from scoping and design through implementation and launch. Work closely with product and design to deliver high-quality user experiences.
