Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily HR operations for the Singapore office, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, letter issuance, and documentation
- Coordinate and support local payroll runs, working closely with payroll vendors and finance to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure compliance with the Singapore Employment Act and other related legislations, acting as the go-to expert for HR-related inquiries regarding local practices, policies, benefits, and procedures
- Act as the authorised local point of contact for statutory registrations and government-related HR matters (e.g. CPF, IRAS, MOM-related submissions) where a Singapore-based representative is required
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to drive efficiency within HR operations
- Develop, review, and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with local labor law and organizational goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation within HR systems and databases
- Support audits, statutory reporting, and any local government/regulatory submissions
- Partner with regional HR/People teams to ensure processes are consistent yet locally compliant
- Take ownership of other HR-related operational projects as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary education in Human Resources Management or business-related disciplines
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, with good knowledge of MOM regulations and Singapore employment laws
- Strong communication skills with a flexible and approachable attitude
- Strong problem solver with commitment to tackle problems in a positive and logical manner
- Proactive, responsible, well-organized, and strong team player
- Tech-savvy, comfortable using HRIS/AI systems and open to adopting new tools
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is a must, due to the need to liaise with local stakeholders and regional teams across different language groups
- Immediately available will be preferred
