We are seeking a Cinematic Artist to join our Cinematics team in Reykjavik. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in creating trailers and promotional video content across our portfolio of IPs. You possess a good eye for composition, timing, and editing, together with a solid grasp of narrative flow.

Your Tasks

  • End-to-End Content Creation: Help design and execute captivating game trailers and video ads, utilizing in-game capture techniques, real-time engines and compositing tools.
  • Pre-Production Collaboration: Work together with team leads to pitch, flesh out, and draft story treatments and narrative scripts.
  • Shot Execution: Own the shot pipeline from rough blocking through to final delivery (animation, compositing, rendering).
  • Studio Support: Assist with various internal video production needs as required.
  • Deadline Management: Balance creative excellence with operational efficiency to meet strict deadlines.

Your Profile

  • A comprehensive grasp of film language, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • A firm foundation in core 3D animation principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaborative problem-solving.
  • The maturity to give, receive, and implement constructive creative critique.
  • Proven experience translating initial scripts and storyboards into polished, final video assets.
  • Willingness to jump on a variety of tasks (in-game capture, editing, UE5 cinematic shot creation).
