Sr. Mobile Developer

What you will do

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Spearhead the end-to-end development of Foxy’s iOS and Android applications using React Native, incorporating native modules (Swift, Kotlin) for performance-critical features.
  • Take ownership of designing and implementing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile architectures to support AI-driven interactions and gamified NSFW features.
  • Drive the development of core features, including user progression systems, rewards, and interactive NSFW content, incorporating feedback from Manual Testers to enhance usability and engagement.
  • Ensure seamless integration of backend services (e.g., APIs, WebSockets) to enable real-time, AI-driven client-server communication, proactively ensuring low latency and robustness.
  • Manage the app release process with full accountability, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, preparing builds, and ensuring smooth, zero-downtime deployments to the App Store and Google Play.
  • Collaborate with Manual Testers to address defects identified through functional, exploratory, localization, safety, and regression testing, taking initiative to prioritize fixes that enhance user experience.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in code quality, performance optimization, and testing, mentoring developers to maintain high standards and fostering a proactive team culture.
  • Ensure robust security and privacy measures for handling sensitive user data and explicit content, proactively aligning with App Store, Google Play, and legal standards.
  • Partner with product managers and AI engineers to define technical roadmaps, take ownership of feature prioritization, and align development with business goals.
  • Stay ahead of mobile development trends, AI advancements, and industry best practices, proactively introducing innovative solutions to elevate Foxy’s market position
What you will need

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
  • English Skills: Strong reading and writing. Speaking skills are a bonus.
  • Tech Savvy: Experience testing on various platforms, devices, or browsers.
  • Process Knowledge: Understands software development workflows.
  • Team Player: Great at teamwork and communication.
  • Location: Based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
  • Bonus Points: Passion for apps or experience with Web3 products.
  • Must-Have: Comfort with NSFW content for our mature (18+) app.
