Job description
Hylo is seeking a highly motivated Senior Protocol Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. Subject to your performance and the company's fundraising milestones, this role may transition to a Founding Engineer position.
To be successful in this role
You will be:
- Building Hylo's core protocol in Rust (Anchor/Solana)
- Developing SDKs in Typescript
- Deploying microservices and bots to support protocol operations
- Validating Hylo's protocol and dApp with integration tests
You ideally have:
- 5+ years professional software development experience
- Prior work on DeFi protocols or other financial applications
- Proficiency with Rust and Typescript
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Bonus points:
- Experience with SDK development and integration testing techniques
- Familiarity with Anchor/Solana programming framework
- History of open source or hackathons in Solana or other ecosystems
