Role Overview

We are seeking a Compliance Officer / Compliance Analyst to support and strengthen United Stables’ compliance framework as we scale our stablecoin operations globally. This role will play a key part in onboarding, AML/CFT controls, risk assessments, and continuous enhancement of compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a subject matter expert and point of escalation and review for corporate KYB onboarding cases

  • Identify, document, and propose process, control, and procedural improvements to strengthen the AML/CFT framework

  • Handle, review and verify all applications for client on-boarding within available SLAs

  • Operate and maintain compliance systems and tools, including platforms such as SumSub and transaction monitoring solutions

  • Apply strong knowledge of AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial crime controls, including virtual asset and stablecoin-specific regulatory expectations during KYB and transaction monitoring process

  • Conduct customer risk assessments, periodic and trigger-based reviews, and enhanced due diligence (EDD)

  • Identify, assess, and document unusual activity, AML/CFT red flags, and potential financial crime risks, ensuring appropriate escalation

  • Work closely with the Compliance Manager and senior stakeholders on ongoing assessments, compliance reviews, and ad hoc investigations

  • Collaborate with Account Managers, VIP teams, and other key business stakeholders to ensure compliance considerations are embedded in business processes

  • Maintain and enhance internal compliance policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring documentation remains current and aligned with regulatory developments

Requirements

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented professionals with strong judgment and a proactive approach to compliance.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in AML/CFT compliance role, with solid exposure to day-to-day compliance operations, including transaction monitoring and KYB framework design and implementation

  • Strong hands-on experience in corporate onboarding, including complex and multi-layered corporate structures, as well as ongoing customer and transaction risk assessment

  • Experience in implementing, calibrating, and reviewing KYT rules, thresholds, and alerts, including escalation and investigation processes

  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, well-reasoned compliance documentation, policies, and investigation reports

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced regulatory environment

  • Well-developed communication, investigative, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing transaction patterns and identifying suspicious activity

  • Professional certification such as ACAMS or equivalent is desirable, but not mandatory
